The Persian Registration label used as Postage (1894-1912)

This exhibit documents the use of a registration label as 1 chahi postage stamp during the period 1894 to 1912. The first registration label used in Persia was charged at 1 chahi each. When there was a shortage of low-value postage stamps, this registration label was used as a 1 chahi postage stamp.
